The current framework delivers around £500m of projects a year across London, the South East and the South West and the new deal will run for an initial four years from May 2027.
Delivered jointly by Hampshire and Devon County Councils, since its inception in 2006, SCF has supported the delivery of £10bn of public sector construction projects.
SCF6 will be structured across 10 lots covering the South West, South East and London, alongside England-wide provision for major and complex programmes. Value bands will range from local projects up to £30m, through to major and mega developments valued at £10m to £100m+.
Kingsley Clarke, Head of Southern Construction Framework (South West), said: “The launch of the SCF6 procurement marks an important milestone for the framework and the public sector organisations we support.
“We are building on a model that has consistently delivered over many years, while ensuring SCF6 reflects the evolving needs of both clients and the supply chain.
“As we move into this next phase, our focus remains on supporting clients to deliver successful outcomes in a challenging market, while continuing to drive value for communities and the wider public sector.”
